    I have penny for all of your thoughts on a Eberlestock X2 as a daypack and a first trip out after the kill pack? I've been thinking this could be a great tool.

    300wsm or 270wsm

    I have both and both shoot great. The 270 has a lot less recoil and MOI is more pleasant to shoot but the 300 has a lot more versatility as far as bullet weight goes. Can't go wrong with either one.

    I've had good results with IMR 4350 and not so good with IMR 4064 and RL17 but each rifle is different. Working on a new H4350 load presently. My buddy has a RL15 load that's been working pretty well for him.gun)

    I have two both are 50 cal. 1st a TC Encore ProHunter and 2nd a Knight Bighorn. The Knight seems to be a tad more accurate than the TC put the TC cleans easier IMO. But I hunt more with the TC. gun)

    270wsm has my vote! It's been "Thor's Hammer" for me on northern MN whitetails. Although for a custom build it would have to be a 6.5wsm IMO.gun)
