I hunt hogs in central Florida. I use a Pulsar XG 50 I’ve seen them discounted to 3400 recently though I paid a lot more. I use an AGM Taipan 19 monocular to find them when we stalk them. They both work very well. The Pulsar is awesome
I have a Seekins Havak pro hunter and a Fierce Carbon Fury which are probably my 2 favorite rifles to hunt with. Im looking at a Seekins Element in 308 win. Im intrigued by the light weight and the short barrel. Im wondering if anybody on here has put one thru its paces and what they liked...
Ive spoken with them about it. They dont have a recommended procedure. I asked him about the clean after each shot for first five shots, then after the next 5 for 3 more cycles for a total of 20 rounds. He was like thats fine if you want to but its not necessary.

None chambered in 308 win but saw this 300 win mag version I can tell you with the brake the recoil is like a 243.

Just read this whole thread and alot of good points are made. I guess the bottom line is you can shoot them with anything if you shoot right behind the ear, or if you dont care to retrieve them.
One point about shooting them behind the ear- make sure you can make the shot. Its not as easy...
If you are loading your own Ive had very good results with Hornady FTX 135 gr in my 300 BO
Ive loaded Barnes too but the Hornady fed better in my rifle
