Hey gents. Does anyone have a consensus on factory ammo? With the cost I'd rather not have to buy 4-5 boxes to find a good one. Tikka T3, 23 1/4" from the muzzle to the action. It will just be for deer/hog, I doubt if the range will be much more than 250 yards. Thanks, Mike

I know you’ve had a number of suggestions, I’ll throw my 2 cents in. I’m a big Sako/Tikka fan, I love my Sako 85 in good old -06. An 85 in 7 mag might be worth looking at. Pretty sweet and very accurate.

I’m thinking seriously about the CZ 527 in 6.5, possibly rechambering to 6.5 BR. New stock to cut the weight further and a Swarovski 3-9x36, 12 ozs. Could be a sweet little rig at about 5 1/2 to 6 lbs total weight.
