I just got back from the range. No change except the lack of clickers. It's still shooting the same loads at the same velocity into tiny little groups.

I did my 300 with your reamer. I didn't know you had a 7. I guess I should have asked.

I'm going to try and make it to the range tomorrow, for a little more shake down, before sending it back.

To follow up here, the reamer arrived today. I'm all but certain I was the first person to receive this particular one. I broke the "inspected" seal. I ran it by hand, just as I had with the 300 and 6.5. Either I got scared and didn't finish, or the reamer didn't spin as freely when done as the...

I'll be dang, they finally got them. And they didn't notify me... They labled wrong. It should be PRCAW (no 2, it took 2 trys with the 300, after that it was figured out, hence no 2 on the 6.5 or 7) that should be it though. I just ordered, so I'll throw a flag if it's not right.

Google PRC clicker. It's a known condition that effects reloaders only. Usually shows up about the 3rd reload on a pice of brass.

It sounds like you have a SAMMI chamber and clickers. I've got the same problem, and did with my 300 PRC too. The 300 got the PRCAW2 treatment, which fixed it. My 7 PRC (which I love) is resting until I can get my hands on an AW spec reamer.

I don't know squat about these bullets, but... if you are looking for a light weight 6.5 that smashes deer and pigs, the 108 Scenar might be your Huckleberry. I've been very impressed.

BTW, with light bullets, IMR3031 ended up being the ticket for velocity.

I've got a 16" creedmoore built with a Mcgowen #3 in 1:7.5 twist and MDT chassis for my now 7yo son. It wears an AB Raptor 4 stack. It's very accurate and a blast to shoot. If I were to do it over, I'd go with a slower twist. 140s to 156s lost too much velocity for hunting at that barrel...
