According to the presentations I watched from tikka at the 2020 shot show they said summer time release guessing late summer.

Thank you for all the data this is why I was wondering if the 7 mag is worth the extra action length weight and recoil because they seem fairly close at the end of the day and I doubt the animal will tell the difference with good shot placement

I kinda figured the recoil is definitely more stout in the 7 mag and on game is there really going to be a massive difference with good shot placement

Yeah i have actually owned a couple 270's over the years and do like them lots of factory options there as well i just thought the prc might be the way to go since it is in a short action and is very close to 270 in ballistics but with better higher bc bullets.

Thank you all for your opinions I was told by several people I was crazy for thinking about taking my bergara terrain in the mountains for elk being its 13.5lbs if I have my bipod on it.

I purchased a 300 Prc terrain

I have recently purchased a few rifles a bergara ridge and a terrain and they both are fairly heavy i know that weight is a benefit to shooting but wanted to see what some peoples cut off is for a rifle being to heavy the ridge i own is about 10lbs with scope and the tereain is almost 12.5lbs...

I have a few scope choices and can't seem to make up my mind on which would be best for this range /hunting rig vx5hd, razor lht, pst gen 2, shv, or another bdx scope all scopes will be in the 3-15 mag range and possibly ffp if applicable all opinions welcome.

I just bought a christensen arms Ridgeline in 300 am and when I pulled it out of the box I noticed the bolt lift was very stiff and the lockup seems like it takes more effort than it should for a rifle in this price range is this normal for these rifles?
