TRY RETUMBO POWDER. You will love it with that projectile. I use 57 grains in my 25-06 rem, but I'm SURE youll get great results with no pressure at all. CCI Benchrest primer Win/Rem cases trimmed to 2.486 3248 FPS with lots of dupes.

And by the way, terminal performance is like you shot them with a hand grenade. I never saw performance like that with TNT projectiles. My last per load, which was also very good, was a Sierra 90 gr HPBT with 55 grains of IMR-4350. Retumbo gave me less pressure, and really good accuracy...

My concern with a headshot is movement. If he moves while I am pulling the trigger, the shot is lost and he is either gone or comming at me. How many head shot hogs have you killed, and how many have you attempted and lost?

Thank you for that information. I am waiting for the weather to cool off, so I can get a shot at this beast. I hunted him once in the heat, I got a tick on my leg, and drenched in my own sweat. Hogs dont come out in the sun, it burns thier skin. I need to wait till winter, or hunt him at night...

I asked, in the letters I left, if I could hunt Coyotes too. I had some responses to that too.

I actually did just that. I drove around, and left letters in the mail boxes of the places I wanted to hunt. I have a place to go now. I left my cell, home, and email address.

Oh yeah, I forgot to include that the X Mark pro trigger is a piece of JUNK. It is hard to adjust, has trouble HOLDING that adjustment, and in my opinion NEEDS replacing right off the bat, if you can afford it.
