H1000 is one of the best for temp stability. I couldn’t get it to group Well with 180 scirocco but at 94.5gr was around 3200 and according to book could go to 96gr
Only in the autoloaders which they should have taken their time and made something like brownings automatics as I’ve owned a Remington auto and didn’t care for it. If it was originally came out in a bolt then the 280 wouldn’t have even been heard of.
So I went through some loaded rounds. I pulled them apart (as last time I fired them they had split necks) because was having issues with about half my rounds getting split necks. I pulled 10 7rum and punched out primer and when I pulled the case out looked and the neck was split on about 6 out...
I went with the NDZ 22lb spring. Haven’t fired anything all that heavy out of it but didn’t really act right using standard 180gr. Maybe they aren’t heavy enough for the 22lb. Thinking I should only use the 22lb for the heavy hard cast or full house 200gr. Guess I’ll have to trial it out.
I see what you’re saying I do like the grip of the XD as I got a couple of them my newest is the Glock G 40 MOS, which is a tank compared to what I carry my every day carry for duty work as a Glock 17, which feels like a baby compared to my G 40
It’s the one I got. Mine only cost me $156 tho. Mine was a competition I won. Best price around. Only had to pay for the upgrade (G40) over a standard.
