The 6.5 sherman is slightly better thought out over the 6.5-06ai. the Sherman uses the .270 case which is longer than the 30-06 case. the .sherman maximises the full potential of the standard bolt face, long action.

as mentioned, i bedded my rail. really easy. used release agent but didnt take it off. i checked my vortex PM rings and they were perfect after this.
