Auto trickler v4 with a fx120 gets my vote
I have the v3. It hangs up just a little on really long stick powder. The v4 doesn't. It'll throw to the .02 grains in about 10 seconds
I went with the 4000gb vortex.
Fantastic unit.
It has no problems reaching advertised ranges. In the fog if you can see it you can range it. It works is 20 degree weather. Its tough as nails. It ranges in snow (my sig 2200 had issues here)
its app connects with kestrel and Weatherflow
it has a...
I have the mk5. 5-25 my brother has the nx8 4-32.
Honestly both have great glass.
The mk is a little easier to get behind at mid to high powers.
The nx8 at 4 power seems to be easier for getting on target at really close ranges for hunt scenarios.
The mk locking turrets are bomb.
I've had my...
Both are great scopes. The Leupold offers a better turret system that locks on zero. It also has a larger eye box
The Night force offers a larger field of view being a 2 power and 50mm
Both have excellent glass.
Can't go wrong with either
The reasons it is advisable to zero a scope for a high powered rifle at 100 are simple
1 and the biggest reason is that 100 yards is the point of minimum ordinance. Meaning that it is the point where minimum point where the line of site and the top of the arch of the bullet converge
2 100 yards...
The 9th doesn't appear to have the gmx listed and the 10th does? Or correct me if I'm wrong
A lot of solid coppers run at higher pressure for the same load
I haven't read the entire thread so I don't know if it's been said but
I would be careful about just attaching a stock to it even after the stamp is back.
It's my understanding that this may only be to have the brace attached.
The stamp itself has a provisionary note on it.
There have been a...
Your reply answers where the 6x22 was sold from but it is missing a couple of models from what I can find.
1 Cabela's 2200 lrh 7x25
2 limited run 2200 bdx 7x25 (oddly enough the next year they came out with the 2400 bdx 7x25 with nearly the same specs as the 2200 version.. except a supposed...
Does anybody know the difference between these two units or are they actually the same. I picked up a 2200 with my Cabela's points.
When I look at the laser sticker on the bottom it states " kilo 1600bdx'
But stamped on the back is " 2200 bdx"
I have an original 2200 Mr and it seems to range farther
This is the app applied ballistics version for correction. This is not the PC based analytics version.
The app version here uses observed drop (the PC version uses mach to derive the factor. Using speed is way better than using drop) notice the yardage that they give you to derive this data. For...
Ukraine has an app for artillery that connects the entire battlefield. It's like geo ballistics on steroids.
Beyond that? IDK. The US does so I would think other countries would also or at least a reskinned app.
IMHO all banning this app did was make it harder to get for anybody except Russians lol
