I'll stick with my grizzly semi auto 45 win mag! Shoot 255 hard cast at 1750 fps with 25 grains of 296. Most people never herd of it, but very well made here in utah.

Have a 161/2 bull with a break. It's a xp100 old comp gun in 6.5x284, 1 in 10 twist, does 120 ttsx barns at 3000 fps. Very, very, noisy, double ear protection needed! Just turned it into a rifle. Going to run suppressed .

I have a 6.5x284 in 16.5" and it runs with a 6.5 creedmoor. 120gr at 3000 fps

I run a TC oncore in 338 mag with a 16.5 in barrel. I use H4831 sc with a 185 Barnes bullet. What flash! Lol.

I shoot a ar15 in 223,match 24in. 75 gr tip at 3000 fps, 26 gr of ww760, cci450 primers, and get low .2 groups.love my 22-250AI, but found a equal in a 222ai mag. Even had 40 gr up to 4500fps only once,lol, just because I could.run 68hpbt at 3400, and 50gr at 3700.all in a TC 24in bullberry barrel.

I'm running 175 Barnes in a Savage, model 10, 26in factory barrel. 10 twist, at 2850 fps, and groups .125 at 100yds.

And if you want a little more punch with your 16.5 barrel just recharger to 6.5x284. Mine is getting 2950 with 120 ttsx Barnes

Have used 748 for alot of years. From 40 to 60 gr it was 28 to 28.5 gr. This worked for barrels in 10in to 26in. It needs cci 450 primers to work. In heavy bullets like 75gr or 80gr I use ww760 power. About 26 to 26.5 gr. At 3000 fps out of a AR 15 with a 24 in bull barrel. All give 1/4 in groups.

Try 175 lrx barns, I run them at 2850 out of a 26 in Savage. Groups .125 at 100 yards. Stock gun!
