my worst group of three was 1.5" my best .75" I know I should have quit sooner as I was getting tired and frustrated.
I've hunted a long time and have never needed to shoot over 200 yards, at deer and moose. My elk hunting buds are telling me I need to be ready to shoot 600 or more so I...
Thanks for the quick replies! Just so I can fully get this through my simple mind.
If according to ballistic tables/calculators my load should be 2" high at 200 yards I would multiply 2" times 2 (or 1" for every 100 yards of distance) then add the two for actual hight adjustment?
I'm stumped and can't seem to find an answer in any of the forums.

Thanks Jim! I read the article by Eric Stecker, that was the clincher for me after reading so many positive post about the Bergers to give them a try.
It seems like most people get the most out of these bullets by being as close to the lands as possible. So I guess my question is, if you can't...
I'll be heading to Montana for an elk hunt this Nov. I've read so many post on the 210 gn Berger's I decided to give them a try. From what I've read everyone seats them as long as possible to start then tweaks their loads from there. I'm shooting a Ruger M77 300 WM with 24" barrel 1-10 twist...
