I had some of the other calibers 7mm,300 358. all have freebore that was the thing back in the early 70"s. the 6-284 does not have freebore. Bob liked to say they were just like Weatherby only better..l.o.l. yes the stock was really pretty but after glass bedding and not tighting screws bad...

Apollo custom rifles is stamped on the barrel, this one like I said is one of the first, it belonged to Bob Heiderich the president of the company at the time. He lived in Reno when the company was started. Printed load data says it pushes 60 grain sierras at 4100 with 58/4350.

SnakeRiverEric, Speeds are a little under what you got, 160 were about 3050 and 140 about3250. I just don't think the Accuracy is as good as it should be.
