I had to shorten the COAL to relieve pressure. Its a Christensen and the barrel is really tight and had pressure issues with even medium loads.

Measured 3.15 to the lands with a Frankford Arsenal case guage.

The lands measured to 3.15. Im at 2.920

I had two bullets separate from the cases IN the action as I was unloading while hunting and dumped powder in the chamber and action. Using new Lapua brass for my 6.5x284 with Hornady match dies, Berger 140 gr. Elite Hunter. COAL at 2.920 is WAY off the lands at 0.095 so I can't understand why...

Looking into that. Only problem is that it voids the warranty from Christensen.

Some of their rifles are fine. Many of their recent production have the same issue I have. May have tobsend mine back.

Happy yours is working for you. Mine would explode if I got up to 3000 fps.

What charge did you use with the RL23? How close is that to. RL22?

No just one on my brass. Looks like two in the picture above.

Yes, at loads of 50-51 gr. I was getting a lot of pressure with both 140 and 156ngr. Bullets. Maybe not 3000 but I just wanted to get more out of it than 2575 with 47gr.

The fired rounds are.292-.294. I'm sizing with Hornady Match dies and the .289 bushing. Lapua brass.
