    Never Spoil your Bird Dog!

Your last sentence probably is it. My 130 lb Lab was a duck hunting machine for 12 solid years. He taught me more about duck hunting than any man could. He would sit with his back to me if I missed too many or gave him bone head instructions. Always refer to him as Jake the Wonder Dog.

    Never Spoil your Bird Dog!

Really sorry your dog has cancer. I know what that is. Had labs for 25 years. It still makes me sad when I remember my buddy's last months.

Shoulder bump problem or no problem?

IMO after reading every response and comment: don't let the horse get in front of the cart. You report and provide pictoral evidence of a dmall area of contact when clambering an inked-up unsized cartridge. If this is caused by a burr (or other anomaly) in the chamber, that should be addressed...

    Reloading Safety

Am I the only one who immediately visualized waving a propane torch over case mouths rather than a flashlight?

    Rilfe Group Fell Off

Where has our OP gone? This exercise would be much more effective if he would respond to requests for clarification. Very frustrating when OP uses nomenclature that is foreign to the rest of us.

    New Remington 700's

Not necessarily. I had to return a new .308 Low Profile Varmint because it was blowing primers and extractor flew off bolt. 3 - 4 months later, with no word from Savage my lgs received a box and message saying "sn xxxxx warranty replacement for sn yyyyyy." Talk about the great communicator. So...

    Opinions on prvi partizan brass

My M700 Varmint (RR prefix) does not like the batch of ppu brass I had. I had to carry a dead blow hammer to overcome the primary extraction issue. My Fed. brass seems to work. 7x57 PPU reworked to 6mm Rem works good. .308 Win PPU works ok in M1A. But does not hold up like LC brass.

    First tikka build

I was where you ate a year ago. All my rifles were factory production. Really wanted a custom or semi-custom. Then I got bit by FT/R bug. Came away with a real bad infection. Driven to shoot competitive @1000 yards. Tried to do it on the cheap: Savage VLP in .308 Win., Athlon 34mm scope...

Bone to pick with new rifle owners - 100 yards out of the box

Giving our government, federal, state or local this kind of power over an activity that involves hunting and shooting would invite abuse to the detriment of all.

Bone to pick with new rifle owners - 100 yards out of the box

I agree with this^^^. I can also relate to that "72+" age bracket. I know there are "dudes" who try to buy their way into a trophy shot at bragging distance. Some of these individuals have simply not had the necessary exposure or mentoring. Would it not be our job to provide that? But some...

Did anybody catch this on Fox ?

Yes, the anti's vote. But the anti is going to vote anti whether or not you, I or the next guy or gal hides our sport from him. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Kydex cheek riser on carbon fiber stock

I have bought 6 Bradley's. They work. They are adjustable. With a little imagination you can slim them down to work for those of us with fat cheeks.
