It depends if it was just for this continent it's the .338 Win Mag but if Africa was included I'll take a Ruger M-77 safari rifle in .375 H&H Magnum. But like kk said you can't have one rifle to cover it all man a .338 or .375 on p-dogs would be hell but I ain't taking my .22-250 grizzly bear...

.338 shoots just as flat why the hell not?I don't think it's as qualified those as the long range boomers these guys talk about they're talking about 55 lb rifles whic confuses me.

Neither mine or my dad's have irons on them.My Uncles(the onw ho got me and my dad into .338s)does.It's a 1970 Winchester Model 70 in .338

I've never been on those dream hunts you were talking about myself but I think the .338 Win mag would make a great one gun option.180 grn and 200 bullets for whitetail,210to225 for mulies,250 for caribou and elk,and 300 grainers for bear and moose.I don't know but I'm sure it would work as I use...

I agree with Brent I wouldn't use anything smaller than the .338 but it's my favorite caliber so mine would go with me.Do y'all want to get eaten by a bear?No?Leave the .270 at home and grab something with knock-down power.

Hi Jon With 200 grn Nosler ballistic tips loaded by Georgia Arms I constantly get groups under one in. with my M-77 MkII s/s.I also own a M-77 MkI blued walnut stock and it takes my Uncle's loads of 250 grn Sierra spbt are 3/4 inch groups at 100 yds for both guns.
