I agree. The Accubond is what I use most.

    7mm cartridges

Thanks guys, I want a Elk rifle for up to 600 yards. I have a 7mm WSM in a Defiance action with a Benchmark Barrel, and a Shilen Trigger on a McMillian stock. This has a Nightforce 5-20 scope. This gun weights 12 pounds. A little to heavy to pack around for a few hours. Would like something...

    7mm cartridges

Looking to get a long range rifle in 7mm caliber. Something less than 10 pounds with scope. What 7mm cartridge is most accurate to 1000 yards? I most likely will hunting less than 700 yards.

    Moose load

I would try a different load. Different powder. I have been using a 325WSM the last few years. With 180 grain Nosler ETip, and 200 grain Barnes X. 6.5 PRC

The picture I posted shows the exit. The bullet entered on the deers opposite side. Shot was down hill and the deer was facing left from where I was.

Well the bullet went thru the neck. I didn’t take a picture. Exit hole looked average, I would say.

Why Doesn't Berger make a Bonded Bullet??

I I agree, I like a bullet that stays together. I want a accurate hunting bullet. My experience with a bullet that comes apart, is that you get to much bloodshot meat. When you have all that energy dispersed before the bullet gets to the opposite side, especially when the animal has thick skin...

    MT Elk Opener

Nice, brought me back to when I hunted Montana and did the same thing. Leaving in the dark, and steep climbing. Finally got a nice one.
