Which adjustable front shooting rest for the bench?

I really like my Cowan. I think these are built by a shop teacher at a school, or at least they use to be.

    SS Wet Tumbler Recommendation

I’m looking to purchase a new SS wet tumbler and I would like some input. I’ve been using the HF dual barrel tumbler for a few years but the motor is getting week and sometimes doesn’t work. The tumblers I’m considering is: Frankford Arsenal Lortone QT12 Extreme Rebel 17 What would you...

Tikka T3X CTR 6.5 Creedmoor Load Advice with a 20in Barrel

Hello LRH! I've been working on some loads for my CTR and the load that seems to be most consistent is 40.6gr of H4350 with Hornady 143gr ELD-X. I don't have a chronograph (yet) to check velocity, but based on my reading on the forum I'm running a light powder load which would mean slower FPS...

My 280ai is about to be finished and i'm looking for a new scope. I will be using it for long range hunting and local 100-300 yard competitions. I'm looking for a 30mm scope with a fine reticle, up to 30 power but no lower than 25 power. I have around $1000 to spend on the optics. I was...

    280ai Die Set ???

I'm looking for the best 280ai die set for my Forster press. All I'm finding is RCBS, Hornady and Redding. I typically use Whidden and Forster dies, and I've read that Forster makes them but I can't seem to find any. Unless I get a different choice, I will purchase Redding. Any input?

Benchrest Quality Dies for 6.5 Creedmoor

Hello, Thanks for your input. I actually have a Forster Coax press so I don't use shell holders. I did find the PDF from Whidden concerning the proper way to set up their sizer. It is different and thanks for the heads up. Hopefully that won't cause a problem. If you have any links you...

Benchrest Quality Dies for 6.5 Creedmoor

Hey Rick, Thanks for the help. I'm still going back and forth between Forster and Whidden. I like the fact that Whidden is a Georgia base company.

Benchrest Quality Dies for 6.5 Creedmoor

I looked at the Whidden Die set and it comes with a Full Length Sizer. From what I've read, and please correct me if I'm wrong, I would really rather have a Neck Sizer rather than Full Length sizing every time. I know people have differing views about this.

Benchrest Quality Dies for 6.5 Creedmoor

Until now, the dies I have purchased have been basic dies for hunting. Now I want to purchase some benchrest quality dies for my Tikka T3X CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor. I first looked at the Redding Competition Bushing 3 Die Set, but after reading a bunch of post on numerous forums I've back tracked...
