    which 300 RUM?

My vote is for the Sendero, but if that means that you need to cut back on the scope I say then go for the SPS. Get the best glass you can afford! Even with the SPS you still have the 700 action to build on in the years to come. Just a thought.

    7mm Rem Sendero

I bought my Sendero a little over a year ago, and when I shot it for the first couple times I was ready to throw it on the road and drive over it! But after a while of getting a custom to the gun and playing around with some loads, it shoots sub moa all day long. The smallest group I have shot...

How about this setup for 500+ yards 223

Not to say that there is anything wrong with the 223 but flyin lizard has a point don't rule out the 22-250, its an awesome caliber. but if you are just going to shoot factory ammo perhaps the 223 would better suit you. Seriously look at the savage model 12's though. I took out my 12bvss...

    Sendero questions

Make sure that you like the feel of the stock first. I'm not overly enthused about mine, but is does the job just fine. Great guns though, if I do my part it shoots sub .5 moa with the factory barrel and hand loads.

Need to put a scope on my 22-250, any ideas?

+1 for the Nikon. I have it on my Savage 12bvss in 22-250. And I can't say anything really bad about it. other than I would stay away from there BDC retical. I'm not a big fan. Other than that its an awesome scope for the money!

Nikon Buckmasters 6-18X40 or Bushnell Elite 3200 Tactical

Re: Nikon Bushmasters 6-18X40 or Bushnell Elite 3200 Tactical Well first question is are you looking at the Bushnell 5-15x50, or the 10x? Cause both are reffered to as "tactical". I own both the Nikon and the straight 10x Bushnell, and have shot the 5-15 Bushnell tonnes. My preference...

    Berger Bullets

Thumbs up on what squirrelduster said. I was shooting 190's out of my sendero and I found the hard and gross way not to shoot anything close. Other than that they are super accurate bullets, but after looking at the berger web site they recomend the 210 for a faster twist. I think the 190's are...

    190 30 cal Berger VLD?

Give "reloading international" a try. I have some Berger 210's on order. The only problem is that I live in Canada so it is taking lots of time to get here. Not to even mention the paper work. But last I herd that a company in Calgary Alberta can bring in stuff from the states for you...

    $300 scope ?

I would have to add another one for the Buckmaster 6-18x40. I have it on my 22-250 witht the "nikoplex" and have no complaints about it. I'm not a huge fan of there BDC retical though it looks like it might get in the way. That said I just bought a zeiss conquest 6.5-20x50 for my 300 win mag...

Is there any ballistics software out there that actually works?

If you want to try another ballistic software for comparison give "eskimo" a try. Its the only one I use and I have had great success with it. JBM - Calculations - Trajectory
