I have mine shooting a 6 Creed. My youngest of 3 daughters just turned 7 and has just been shooting a 22lr. Let her have 1 shot with the 6 Creed at 770 yds the other day and she hit within 6 inches of center. 105 VLD at 3050 has taken deer out to 695 and Antelope out to 763yards. I would want...
Last year we were there the only day it rained all year and the winds were 20+ miles an hour. My brother held in the flank and hit in front of the shoulder at around 350 yards. Only shot we had to hold wind on this year was the 700 yard shot at 2 mile an hour. Only 1.5 minutes.
My dad, brother and his daughter along with my two oldest daughters went to Wyoming again this year and the weather was way better than last year! With almost no wind we were able to stretch our range. My dad and oldest two daughters got their farthest kills this weekend.
I shot mine at 690...
This is the first coyote I called in with my eight-year-old daughter. We were hunting deer for her in October when I called it in. She couldn't see it coming in the standing beans so I borrowed her gun to shoot it at 30 yds. She shot an 8 point buck last year when she was 7 and a doe this year.
Here is a picture of my first triple. From February of this year. Had five coming in, three of them stopped at 22 yards for the first shot, one stopped at 80 yards and one stop to 293 yards. Two of them made it back to the trees. My dad was with me so that made it even more fun. I was shooting...
What is your .22-243 load, I just got a Savage/Shilen with 1/8 twist to shoot 75 a-maxes.
I was hoping to use H4350, but haven't worked up a load yet. What velocity do you get.
Thanks
I wanted to use a Hodgdon Extreme Powder, H4350 looked like it would work, and I have a lot of it. I just didn't want to start from scratch. From what I have read 3400fps seems to be a good accurate vel., any other help is welcome.
Thanks
I just got a .22-243 and was wondering if someone had load data for 75gr A-max bullets and H4350. 26 in., 1-8 twist, shilen barrel
Or if someone could give me a starting point with QuickLoad.
Thanks
