    There were lots of hunters there. The weather was dry, no snow to push them down and it wasn't very cold during the day. We did see a few. If I go back I won't bring an utv like this time, I'll plan to hunt in walk-in access areas only. This will eliminate 99% or more of the other hunters...

    This is my first late season rifle hunt. If it's anything like early season archery, be prepared to cover a lot of ground and go where others aren't willing to go. Study the maps hard! And mostly, enjoy it!
