I’ve looked and handled one also and yes they fit really nice for the price but I’ve heard, seen and read the opposite about the performance. Kinda hoping the aftermarket world will have aftermarket barrels soon for them. I wouldn’t mind buying one if it can be easily customized by the owner.

The only issue I’ve had with the wedges is that some scopes have a big turret area and the space between the scope and the pic rail is to small to use the wedges. A person might have to be careful not to torque your scope down on top of the wedge, you could damage something, so I would...

I’ve shot one of smallest groups with the 150’s ablr and I tried to replicate that and shot nothing but huge groups from there…….couldn’t replicate/repeat any of them

I doubt they did it for the same case capacity but to get the most case capacity out of the 6.5prc case design and not have to deal with the saum rebated rim design……could be wrong but thats my .02.

Kenny’s was a 6arc case necked down, not a 6.5 grendel like Hornady’s 22arc is based off of.

That’s funny right there!! I will look into it vs the 22gt before I pull the trigger on one or the other. I look at the amount out powder it takes to get a certain speed, and to me the 22gt is around the 22br/bra, but they are more efficient with the amount of powder it takes to get to that...

Don’t have a dog in this fight for elk but in my 26” 4 groove 1-7 barreled rifle I had issues with the 147 eldm’s blowing up after the barrel warms(4-5 shots)…..normally not an issue hunting but it tells me I’m on the threshold of having to many rpms on them, so I opted not to use them on game...
