Sorry but whats the recoil on a 25 06? I won a Savage Axis a couple years ago but since I use a 308 or 300 most times. Sorry so my 12 year old grand daughter fell in love with a crossbow but I looking at letting her use it. I guess the only way I know what the recoils like is to shot it

dont get a 16" 300 black and go kill some pigs. Just say a program yesterday that says their destroying everything. If you want to go long distance get a 308 then you can atleast find rounds for it 20 year Marine retired to Pa enjoy your retirement

To start the trouble shooting on a gas gun first you need to put one round in the mag allow the bolt to close and see if it fires? Did it pick up the round and fire? Bolt lock open on empty mag? It could be under/over gassed buffer to heavy/light, but you need to go step by step the gas block...

I like the magpul ms4 i use in on multi rifles can be set up dual or single point I also have a loder rifleman version but its kind a pain. If set for one rifle its fine but I try and get the most out of my gear

I use dimple tools and at least put one dimple in my barrels normally under the gas port. Then if I decide to change the gas block they will line up. Easiest way is a teslong plus it can be used on any gun. Cheap way spaghetti noddle does and do the same thing as brownells plastic one but...
