I've had great success with IMR 7828 (can't find it anymore either) in .300 Weatherby (84.0 grns)(168 grn pills) & .338 Edge (.338 X .300 rum) 86.5 grns. Under a 300 grain pill. I know it's not the exact same but maybe help with a tough decision?

I have an older remington bdl in .243 and the only grouping I could get was with a 90 Grn. E-Tip and 45.5 Grains of 7828. Not a screamer but knocks deer down out to about 500 yards. Last one a 484 yrds.

I once got about 600 hand loads with a 25-06. I pulled every one of those and reloaded them to the specs I found. I just don't trust anyone else's work like I trust my own. I wouldn't be hurt is someone did the same to any I sent with a gun. To me it is just extra brass, which is a plus nowadays!
