You will have a hell of a time if you can even to it. The shoulder is 90 thou longer on 7wsm I believe. I would just get some 300 wsm brass.

It’s the actions. TTS are timed for custom actions. Because Remington’s have a large spec in which they have been made and the lug are often cut out of spec so try getting a 30 thou + size PTG cocking piece

Nope I might have wiped it off when I disassembled the bolt but I’m not sure.

I think it was lack of lubrication. The cocking piece has metal gone as well as the notch where it sits in bolt body when the bolt is cocked.

my defiance tenacity started having a grinding sound and after cleaning the lugs I noticed this. It doesn’t effect the function but did I wreck my bolt?

Exactly I also use it when I sight in .2 mils high at 100 yards.

Just thought I’d ask but did you anneal before or after resizing because annealing after resizing could affect your neck tension and make your case grow.

What kind of fl die? Seem like simply the wrong neck tension. Can you change the bushing? Or can you pull the expander out and use a expanding mandrel? Did this happen with more than one piece of brass?

Agreed. I’ve always said shoot the biggest cartridge that you can shoot well. If you can’t shoot the gun to the best of its capabilities get a different gun.

Very true. I had one bad experience with sst bullets so I have quit using them and only good experiences with smks which is why I will continue to use them. Real performance and personal confidence means much more than the name on the box.

But things like hornady sst bullets do not expand either they just blow up and fragment after penetrating a few inches.

Yeah I like to keep my impact velocity at 1800 fps and 1 sec< flight time. I’m hoping to get my hands on some 180 eldms for next year. I like match bullets for when I’m hunting past 500 because I haven’t been able to get the same accuracy with hunting bullets at longer ranges. Although I haven’t...
