Copper Creek Cartridge stocks 6.5 x 284ammo, loaded with several bullet options.

I have shot 3 whitetail with the 143 ELDX out of a 6.5 x 284. 2 of the deer were over 200#. 2 were at 100 yards 1 at 481 yards. Had excellent results on all 3. But I’m getting scared of the ELDX from what others are experiencing. Going to try the accubonds.

I shot a 190# whitetail at 90 yards with 143 gr ELDX out of a 6.5 x 284. Shot went through both shoulders. My brother shot a 170# whitetail at 85 yards with the same gun and same bullet. Penetrated near side shoulder and lodged under skin on off side. Every shot is different

Copper Creek Cartridge offers sample packs loaded with different bullets and powders. I shoot there ammo in a 6.5 x 284 and a 300 WSM. Been very pleased

West Tx Ordnance is currently building me 257 WBY. Stiller action, 1:10 Bartlein barrel, McMillan Game Hunter stock. I hope it shoots the 110 Gr accubonds if not I will be trying the Berger’s.
