This is out of the Barnes manual "IV" This is a load from the Barnes manual, page 159. 130gr TSX , Rel 19 max 59.5grs, 3211 fps , 24" Bbl. I have been using this load for years. Plus two other friend's have used this load. Perfect, & accurate.

The best i can relate is , the 130gr Barnes TSX in my 6.5x06. 24" bbl, 1/8 twist . Using Rel 22, I get 3120fps, under 1/2" three shot group. For years I have been taking my elk with a 260 Rem. & the Barnes 120gr at 3039fps. Last season tried the Badlands 6.5, 125gr in my260 Rem, & took my elk...

As an update. Shot the rifle today, 6.5-06 ( temp, mid 70's ) Three shot group , Barnes 130gr TSX. Off the shelf Rem 25-06 brass stepped up to 6.5. Load was with Rel 22, Win LR primers. Vel 3120fps. Loaded on basic RCBS dies. Three shots , 100yds. just for general interest, this load shoots...
