This is a Sightron SIII 8-32x56 with 1/4 MOA target dot. It has been in my safe and to the range only where it was on a 260 Rem. It was 2 small marks near the eye piece that are not obvious. You can see them in one of the pictures. I haven't pulled it out of the rings to check for ring marks...

I went back and forth with this same debate on a build I am doing now. After some research, the only thing that I could conclude that I would get with fluting the barrel was a barrel with flutes. I never was convinced it was going to help anything, so I decided not to flute the barrel.

I would have to say Nightforce would be my first choice and Zeiss Conquest after that. The Nightforce is a tough as nails scope and has some of the most positive turrets around. The Conquest is not quiet as durable on the construction end, but still very well made and glass that is excellent...

If I had to do it over again, I would buy the exact same 2 Timney triggers that I have. They both have made big differences in the accuracy of the rifles that they are in.

If you go with the Nightforce and use MOA turrets, use the NP-R1 reticle. I can only speak from my experience, but I have never seen a Tasco that held a candle in the wind to a Nightforce. Nightforce are rugged scopes that track consistently. I have ran the turrets up and down, left and right...

Anyone have any experience using this machine? I want to anneal cases from .223 to 300 WM, with the occassional 300 RUM. This seems a little faster than some of the older methods.

I have a Manners stock that I am going to send back and have them inlet for a Savage 111 in 300 WM. As it currently is, the gun has the detachable magazine that holds 3 rounds. The stock is less than optimal since it is flimsy, which is why I want to replace it with the Manners. The problem...
