I haven’t been involved in this thread but when I first tried the 151AH I also started with benchmark. I ended up at 47gr 1/4 crimp @ 2980 fps average 1/2- 3/4” groups. After talking with Steve I moved on to PP Varmint and the TAC. Don’t remember the powder charges of the top of my head...

Go check your orders. I had the same issue and turns out it actually placed 2 orders… called and had one canceled

Not saying that there is a problem with their design. Just that as bearing surface goes up pressure is going to go up for the same charge. Simply by looking at the pictures on their website, I’d guess that the BD2 will hit pressure sooner. Maybe that can be mitigated with a slower powder...

I was able to get the 151AH to 3150 out of a Winchester m70 22” barrel with both Tac and Power Pro Varmint. Couldn’t consistently get accuracy I was looking for with the Varmint but with Tac I ended up with a load that would consistently shoot .5-.75MOA going just above 3100 Matt

Not saying i could. Just one is going to be “better” than the other. For the vast majority of people you could make the argument that the only difference that anyone would be able to tell between any of the choices is the increase in recoil.

I voted for the 166HH but you’d have to run the data in a calculator to see if if the 162AH would be better. I’ve been following many of the threads recommended above and agree that the evidence is there but it is definitely outside the box and hard to accept without firsthand experience...

Don’t have any direct experience with the 165 or 180 but my 06 likes 55gr of H4350 with the 168 TTSXs. Don’t remember the exact velocity but it was just above 2800fps. Groups were right at .5 MOA -Matt

There is a 4895 load for the 162AH in the absolute data. I think that is about where they rain out of case capacity. Both TAC and PP Varmint are ball powders so you can fit a lot more in case. I agree that it will work, but you’re likely going to be a bit slower than the ~3140 you should be...
