When I built my 260 AI, I built it as a single shot,, course several of my other favorite rifles are single shots, Ruger #1s, Shiloh Sharps, Stevens 44 1/2s, "one shot, one kill" :)

Kevin I agree. Handloaders typically match their powder based on burning rate. I doubt that there are any 'bad' powders out there. Matching the powder to the case, barrel length, bullet weight is what's important.

tried some IMR 4064 for the first time this fall (my brother gave it to me) and I must say I'm impressed with the accuracy in my 6.5x51A.I. that's enough for me :)

Question for you experienced antelope hunters, do you use a bipod or improvised rest (backpack, jacket, bush, rock, etc). This is not my first antelope hunt. I used improvised rests in the past , not always with the best results and am considering a Harris bipod. So, what say ye?? gun)
