I use the VFG pellets available from Brownell’s to scrub with JB Bore Paste. With that said, I have used a patch wrapped around a brush with JB to scrub before with no issues. It’s my understanding this is ok. Abrasives applied directly to a brass brush is the problem from my understanding.

How about CLP and a bronze brush? I'm a bronze brush fan.

Agreed. CLP has been used by the Armed Services for decades. I'd be surprised it damages bores. I've never heard of CLP voiding warranties.

Voiding warranties? What could it due to a bore? Hydraulic damage upon firing like oil left in the bore?

What needs to be "read" on brass? Tumble, anneal (AMP), FL size bumping shoulder back two thousandths, tumble and load. I trim if needed otherwise I just described my brass prep in a sentence.

What’s the bullet velocity beyond 300 yards? My 6 ARC is 1800 FPS right at 600 yards. It technically should expand sufficiently at that range, but are 6mms powerful enough at long range?

I had a 6 ARC in an AR-15 upper and the issues with belting when sizing the brass along with filthy brass shooting suppressed moved me to get a Howa Mini. I love it in a bolt action.

I’m new to the .243 caliber after getting a 6 ARC bolt gun. 108 ELDM seems a tad puny compared to a 147 ELDM or 178 ELDX Guess I’ll find out how well the 6mm caliber kills in a few months.
