Since the majority of scopes are MOA that is what I choose to use. I prefer mil-dot for holdover and windage.

I just started this last year to put more time into hunting crows. My weapon of choice now is 17 Mach2. I've called in dozens at a time on a good day and get to shoot 3 of them when they land over about 35 minutes. I tried the year before with a shotgun and my success was far less stellar...

I shoot 55V-Max over 25.3 H335 LC brass. Shoots right around 1MOA from my Stevens 200. Definitely bang flop so far.

Try any 22 of your choosing with subsonic ammo.

40ish for me. Recurve from up a large tree. Everything else I've shot has been closer...closest was 1 yard.

Vet wrap only sticks to it'self. No damage to anything it touches.

Just wrap it up with Vet tape for the winter. No need to ruin a nice paint job that works for 3/4 of the year.

I have the 6500 on my 308. I like it up to about 24 power...but then again...that's why i bought one that went to 30 :D

10 years ago I shot IBO events. Traditional. Not so much now.

Agreed....for bow hunting ARC is not an issue. For longer distance hunting I can see it being helpful. I bought the Leupold with TBC or something like that, it also has a mode that tells you the dial up for your load if you find one that works on it.
