The cat's meow!! I run 36.0 gr. of RL-17 w/ 75 gr A-Max's for 3400-3450 fps!! W/ a .435 bc and that velocity, run those #'s through any bc calculator and see for yourself. I have a 204 and I do like it for prairie dogs, this combination leaves the 204 as a safe queen for pretty much anything...

johnmyers, I too shoot a 22-250 pac-nor ss 1-8" twist and I am wondering what load you are using. I am working up a load using H-100V and RL-17, both powders are showing great signs using heavy bullets. My current load is 36.5gr. H-4350 under a 75gr A-Max. and that is running about 3200 fps.

Are your Seekings rings Med's or low's? I have a pair of low's but I'm thinking I need the Med's. Thanks!

I'm gonna have to 2nd the Nikon 6-18 or I prefer the 4.5-14 for the 1/4 MOA mid turret design. Optics are great and the mechanical reliability and features of the Nikon pretty much justify your request.

Hillbillybear, Your 10 twist certainly will stabalize that 105!! My 6BR has a 10 twist and it shot a .157" at 200 yards w/ that 105 A-Max.

Pretty much the same thing. I live in Salina, about 15 min. north of Richfield. Idaho is a good place to go, but it's getting pretty scarce around here too.
