I have 2- 8-32 SII, and 2- 8-32 PLR. they all have good clarity, the PLR is illuminated, and the turrets feel more crisp. the reticle is a little busy, but once you’re used to it is very useful. For the money I believe it is a very good scope.

I have 2 of the 8-32x56 SI III and they are one of the best scopes in the price range to me. I will ne getting a couple of more when funds permit.

I have a Swede built on a Rem 700 LA, with a 29" Pac Nor 1 in 8 twist. My load is 47 gr. Of RL-15 at 3,500 fps, it is a laser! 1/4" groups at 100, and hits very hard.

Yes a rem base will work, I used a NF 20 moa base. Mine uses the 8/40 screws

I have a HTR in .308 and it shoots sub 1/2" all day long. The action is smooth and in 6+ years I have never had an issue.

Remington states it 15 lbs shipping weight, so I would think mine is 16 shipped. hope that helps.

It shoots 1/2 to 3/4" at 100 using 300 gr Berger Hybrids, Lapua Brass, Fed Match primers, with 97.2 grains RL-25 at approximately 2900fps. It did not shoot the 300 Sierras as tight as the Bergers.
