Which muzzleloader? I have been trying to decide between the Remington Ultimate and the CVA Accura v2 LR. I would like to shoot out to 300 yards. This would be the first muzzleloader that I have owned. Thanks

I am in the boat you are except mine is the 338 Edge. I cannot find brass or find any 300 gr bergers. And I am down to 7 rounds left my brass is on its second firing but no bullets to load in them. I have been considering rebarreling to the 300 Win for the last month now.

Give Scott a call at Cross Canyon Arms he should be able to help you out. They build all the Tejas calibers and I believe they sell custom ammo for it also.

No the rifle does not have a scope on it. It has 1 inch leupold dove tail rings on it still though. Sorry I am waiting to see if this sales goes for sure before I sent more pics or post some. Thanks

I have a Browning Abolt 25 WSSM that I want sell it have had it since they first came out. It only has about 80 rounds thru it. It is in excellent condition. It has been sitting in the safe for a while now and it's time to go. I am asking $450 plus shipping.

The Tikka T3 Lite will work great out to 700 yards. I have one in 7mm and I shoot out to 1000 all the time with great results. I have shot elk out to 670 and 880 yards with it.

What barrel length would you go with on the Edge. Thanks for everybody's replies. I think I am going to try the Edge. I have never owned a 338 caliber so it might just be fun to play around with.

Well I was all about the Edge up until about 2 months ago. Then I read Broz's comparison of the 210 vs 215 berger and it got me thinking why not go with the 300 win. Now on Saturday the gunsmith will be taking my rifle with him so its decision time.

I have Tikka 7mm Rem Mag that I load 70.7 grs of H1000 and the OAL is 3.420 with CCI 250 primers and the velocity is 2942 fps. I took a cow elk with this gun at 886 yards in Janurary. This is with the 168 Berger VLDs.
