    Ballistic turrets for me?

I'm new to the idea of ballistic matched turrets. I have a few questions I live in California and I hunt the coastal range where the elevation can be up to 1500 and the tempature can range from 70 to 110 degrees. I sometime hunt in the Sierra Nevada mountains where the elevation can be up to...

    Leopold vs Nikon

This will be the first time I use the turret system. Before I'd just hold over. My family and I have always used Nikon thinking its a cheaper Leupold but boy am I glad I asked. Thank you everyone for your input.

    Leopold vs Nikon

I'm looking for a new scope. Budget is right at $500. It's for my 30-06 and I want to extend the range on it a bit up to 500 yards. I've been told my best options are the Leupold VX-II and the Nikon Monarch 3 due to their custom turret systems. I'm not sure which to go with. Thank you

G7 rangefinder? Do I need it?

I shoot a factory savage 116 300 win mag with a Nikon Monarch 3 with a custom turret. I can hit 600-700 yards at the range. But for hunting is it really worth getting the G7 rangefinder? I currently have a leupold rangefinder with the angle compensation and what not. I haven't tried hunting with...

    Cutting edge bullets.

That is my issue. I'm not sure where to look for a barrel for my 25-06 axis because according to their specs it requires 1:8 twist. Any reccomendations? And would this be too fast for a 100 grain bullet?

    Cutting edge bullets.

I'm skeptical about the loads. Just how much powder to use without wasting much.

    Cutting edge bullets.

Thank you, as I'm wanting to load them for my 300wm and 25-06. Just a little skeptical about it.

    Cutting edge bullets.

Has anyone tried experimenting with the brand Cutting Edge? I hear lots of different things about them. They say to go off of your preferred load and act as if it is the same grain bullet as another in a manual. Your opinions?

300wm savage axis or t/c venture??

Well I can go a little more upwards in price. Would it be best to go with a higher number model? What I mean is, is a 111 better then a 110 or a 116 better then the 111 and the 110? And thank you this is really helpful!

300wm savage axis or t/c venture??

I'm looking to purchase a rifle in 300wm for up to 800 yards but not sure about which to get. They're about the same price. TC venture guarantees a 1" group or better but I hear awesome things about the savage axis. I plan on upping the stock then bedding it. If reviews are already posted can...

    Interested in shooting 600-800 yards.

I'm fairly new to shooting long ranges. I can currently shoot 400 yards with a 25-06 savage with 115gr Barnes tsx. Looking for advice on a 300wm to hunt elk and deer out of state at longer distances. I reload my ammo. I live in California lead free zone with little experience on the heavier...
