    Lone Ranger bullets Question

They can be used to practice with the rifle. Tombac was used to replace copper alloys on military bullets jacket. You can identify the steel if bullets are attracted to a magnet. As they are plated friction is OK. If the barrel is brand new they are good to smooth the rifling as someone mentioned :)

    Primers can make a difference.

Just taking care of velocities looks like you have a velocity node on the first 2 charges with both primers 3693 fps 3699 fps with one and 3647 fps 3659 fps with another if you are happy with this velocities test them more. Good luck

Performance of SMK HPBT 190 gr

Use smk190 (because I got inexpensive a couple thousands several years ago) on a Sendero 300WM 26" barrel 1 in 10" twist but prefer Berger 220 grain Long Range Hybrid Target. Load them on Lapua brass 73.4 grain of VV N565 and Federal GM215M. Gives around 2800fps and groups 5 shots in less than...

What is your preference for trigger type and pull weight for long range hunting?

Most of my rifles are Rem 700 type and Tikka. I prefer light triggers.use Timneys and Jewell but my main concern is carrying a round in the chamber and walk around with the rifle shouldered and lift the bolt unintentionally while carrying it. 3 position safeties avoid that but find that type of...

Reticle Calibration of SFP Scopes: 10x or Max.❓

Just check when the reticle magnification is true on a target placed a known distance away. Place a target exactly 100m away from scope. Mark on target a space of 30 centimetres and if your reticle is in milrad that should fit 3 milrad on your scope reticle. If reticle is in MOA mark a space 29...

If you have trouble unscrewing a suppressor spray generously with some carbon cleaner and deepfreeze the can for a few hours. Should work fine. Apply some moly grease on threads to avoid this.
