All of them have ill reticles. The 6-24s that is. Shouldnt be a problem though, it has a switch and i have never turned it on. It is as it came from the box. Yes i am going another route.

I think there is a 338 jarret, look into that it would be very close to the 338-8mm but data, dies and a reamer may be eaiser to find. What about a 338 rem ultra mag? very common parts and pieces to keep cost down. Any custom dies for a wild cat will be $125 or better, 338 rum dies are standard...

If you had a 300 jarret you could fire a 300 wea in it but the brass cannot be reloaded. When a weatherby is fired in a jarret chamber it fire forms and leaves a very very short neck. Jarret brass can be made with 7 stw or 8mm mag brass. ebb
