I have a 7 SAUM in a MG ultralight. I have been using 162 ELDs but working on a load with 165 sierra game changers. Have killed lots of stuff with it over the years.

a good back up is to take a blanket along with you to put inside your bag. It helps a bunch if your bag is not as warm as you would like for it to be. As stated above a ground pad of some kind (blanket works) will be a game changer on the bag’s ability to keep you warm, even if you are on a cot.

Agreed two different things. I have been using a harness from Rick Young Outdoors for many years. They are only about $20. And keep your glasses easily accessible. I Don’t care much for the pouches. But that’s why they make so many different ones I guess 😁

My son and I have pick up a few a couple months ago. Found a couple decent match sets.

Also wherever you put it, it will kill all the grass and make a bare spot. So keep that in mind.

Hesse, for whatever my two cents is worth. Salt and mineral is the same no matter no matter what animal is eating it, and every animal does. If you find a local feed store in your area they probably mix a mineral that is for your area. I am a Cattle rancher in east central Kansas and feed lots...

I sat down and put 23 rounds through my 458 Lott once, getting it dialed in for a hunt. No brake, it was all I wanted.

My hunt went really well. I didn't shoot anything, but the guys tried really hard, and I seen a lot of deer. The food and hospitality was excellent.

I like the Swarovski Z5. I have one one my ultra lite 7mm SAUM. The whole thing scoped is just over 5lbs. It's only a 1" tube, but great glass. That leupold vx6 is also amazing and about as light as you can go in a 30mm tube. The one I have is a 2-12 with the BC Fire dot retical and love it.
