It seems like a good option to me, especially if someone wanted to put it all together themselves and doesn’t have a lathe. It’s what I would do if I didn’t have one.

You could buy a blueprinted action from PT&G. Then do the remage barrel setup for an easy DIY build.

I would personally look at the athlon area etr and Cronus btr scopes.

I have a fluted #3 6.5mm benchmark. It’s been great for me.

I’ve had good luck with pt&g. They’ve made reamers for me before.

I use the Berger 115gr hvld with RL22. I believe it’s 58 grains.

I have a 6.5-270AI and I’m at 59.9gr H-1000 with a 140gr SMK. Groups are under 1/4 inch.

I shoot the 210 HVLD in my 300 rum with good results.

I use Norma brass and have had good luck. +1 for Norma.
