Well thanks for the input guys It looks like a lot of creedmoor guys out there kind of the one I was learning towards.
I will probably be picking that up in a weatherby vanguard and definitely using hornady ammo. I work like 90 hours a week I don't have the time to reload or play with loads...
I have a couple of antelope tags this year and am considering a new rifle.
My toss up is either going to be the 6.5 creedmoor or the 25-06 what are my pros and con to these firearms never shot or owned either?
I intend to have several barrels 6.5 creedmoor is at the top of the list as I just feel that would a good replacement for an antelope gun.
Not to mention several others I have in mind.
I am considering a 300 RUM for my TC Encore I am concerned about recoil with that big magnum and such a light gun, has anyone ever used this combination?
I agree with you for the most part longer range less wind drift better energy.
However take smaller animals such antelope, the little javelina, coyotes ect I don't want a larger cali er on them because of the flesh and hide damage on the exit wound and the amount of meat it destroys. That 6.5...
