I had the same issue with my 338 rum bdl, I ended up having to sand the barrel channel on my stock. Try running a dollar bill between the stock and barrel, and see if you might have contact. Like you, I had 2-3" groups at 100 yards, after some sanding same factory ammo was right at 1" groups.

I have a Remington stainless BDL in 338 RUM with Vais muzzle break, and Leupold 3.5-10x50 scope. Has had 60 rounds through it. If I remember right, the total for all was about $1325 new. I hate to sell it, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. So what would be a fair price to ask? Dave

After reading your reply about the Horus reticle, I looked them up on their website and a few questions came to mind. #1. Are all those lines easy to read? #2. On the ultra longrange it needs tapered bases, can you get a zero at 100 yards? #3. I'm guessing with all the lines this etched glass...

I have the load from a disk and I like it real well. It too has the click chart, MOA drop plus starting loads for reloading with CUP and psi pressures. It's the only program I use, I hope I have'nt posted this to late as I just joined minutes ago. Dave.

Does anybody have any experiance with this scope? I understand they got the navy contract years back for the seal teams, when they thought Leupold was going to quit the mark 4 tacticle. Dave
