Eurooptic is where I have bought 280ai Peterson Brass. They seem to always have it in stock. They have in 50 and 500 quantity. Not cheap but nothing related to hand loading is these days.

The reported temp stability of RL 23 is what drew me to it in the first place.

RL23 has worked really well for me. N165 will give you great speeds with 140gr bullets.

I had a NULA in 260 which is the predecessor of this rifle. It shot fine. I could not shoot a 5lb rifle worth a flip. Super cool rifle but not for everyone.

I personally do not like the stock at all on a Tikka. The new Sako with a pistol grip is kind of cool.

Makes sense. What I was trying to convey is that I am guessing that it is nearly impossible to make a bullet that performs perfectly at 3000fps impact velocity and 2000fps. Berger’s are designed to perform way out there. Tuning down for yardage makes sense. I am curious about the Hammer bullets...

I was told by someone at Berger that their bullets were optimized for terminal performance at long distances (Lower velocity). This makes sense as why would you use a high BC specialty bullet if you weren’t possibly shooting at a long distance? I am getting 2835 fps with the 175 Berger Elite...
