Painting Stainless BBL's?

Re: Painting Stainless BBL\'s? Yes also to what tho said about the paint from Brownells. I done my SS barrel with the Brown epoxy and it came out real good. You can also get several camo colors in the Krylon paint, I have used it also and so far it has done good job, fairly cheap to buy at...

7mm 160 grain Accubond Field Report

dakor, If you think the Accubonds didn't work right then listen to this: I seen the bullet that was taken from a Cow elk that was shot in the neck at 40 yds with a 7mag. That's right, the 160 Rem. corlok did not go thru the neck! ------------- Zod

    300 win.mag bullets

jimm, Your are right on the BC for the 180's. I have only shot 98 rds thru my 300 mag, so I am not going to give you much from this end. But, I have read several times that the 200 gr bullets or maybe a 220 will usually do very well in the 300. -------- Zod

    Cocentric bullet seating

The "runout" thing has been tested for many years and I remember reading in the Precision Shooting magazine many years ago about it. It was found that "runout" does play an important part in accuracy and that contary to what a lot of people think...the barrel will not...

    Leupold Scope

I have a Leupold 4.5x14,50mm, Matt, Duplex, B&C, that I can not use. This scope is NIB. I just looked thru it and it's not in focus for me at 300 yds.I have had several people look thru it and it's ok for them, but I have to have a scope with an AO in order to see things very clear past...

    Recoil Pad Ratings?

If you can get a chance, check out the Limbsaver recoil pad. I order one for a friend a couple weeks ago and I really like it. It's lots softer than the factory pads. I will be putting one on my 300WM before long. ------------- Zod [ 10-22-2004: Message edited by: Zod ]

    best twilight scope?

Stoke, Listen to what Aussie is saying, for he is very correct on those night lights. I have been using two different models since 1994 for hunting coyotes. These lights are superand I just use a 12v 12 amp SL battery (rechargable) and it works fantastic. --------- Zod

    Question on parallax ...

It really depends on what power setting that you have your scope set to. If you have it set on 15x then you will probably have to adjust the AO down to 50 yrd mark to get it clear for 100 yrds. Just adjust the AO until your site picture is clear at what ever distance or power setting your using...

    New Barrel Specs:

nighthunter264winmag, Agree here also on Lilja. The way I would do it is to send the bullet that you are planning on using the most to the gunsmith of your choice. He then can determine exactly what will be the best twist and barrel length. I just had a Shilen Select Match put on my Rem BDL...
