Used GAP, oor se what GAP has in "rifles ready to ship" on their site. If you fid someone to build a custom in your time frame, 6.5x284 for the win. light recoil, good range. I love it.

between the two, I'd go 6.5x284. Lapua brass. SAUM brass is not always fun to find. I shoot 6.5x284 for anything up to elk. Plenty of range capability too. 123 Amax's with R23 just over 3100fps

Building a .270 WSM on a stiller here pretty soon. Like 270, but for some unknown reason I hate long actions. Unless it's a tikka (longish action)
