I built a AR10 in 6.5 x 47 Lapua and it's a tack driver. Uses standard 308 magazines. The 270 WSM would need a magazine designed for it to function properly.
I’m not fond of the turret press system for precision rifle ammunition. I have the RCBS 6 station one and unless you have a professional weight lifter tighten it down the upper section will tilt upwards at the bottom of the downstroke.
I use the Forester CoAxe press for all my precision loads.
I would opt for a 1 in 8 barrel change and that should solve your problem. 280AI with a tried and true hand load will do anything the 7mm Rem Mag will. Also uses less powder.
Without a doubt I’d go for the 280 Ackley Improved. Gives 7mm Rem Mag performance with a substantial savings on powder used. Ammo availability through Nosler or you could fire form 280 Remington brass.
Find a thin strip of metal and press it against an empty case to obtain the shape of a cartridge. Remove the bolt and work the shaped metal into the chamber until it hits the obstruction and mark the exposed metal so you know exactly where the bulge is. Remove the strip and see if there are any...
Lapua costs more but it’s worth in for competition shooting. Peterson makes quality brass and costs less. I’m on my ninth reload of Peterson 6.5 Creedmoor brass and the primer pockets are as tight as the first load.
While the break will reduce recoil far more then a silencer I would not shoot large action rounds without a silencer especially if you hunt with a friend. The noise and over pressure of a break will give anyone next to you a jolt.
Your annealing plan sounds adequate. Those shoulder indentions is caused by excessive lube getting on the resizing die shoulder section or the case shoulder itself. Only lube the case body and inside the neck for the expander ball to pass through and the problem will go away.
