prefer a new take off. any finish is fine as long as its a 338 rum for REM 700 actions. Staying on a budget so nothing with a brake or a blank please.

new manual doesn't have it listed for the rum. wondering if anyone has gotten any data for this load to start or results.

I've heard of it but i think it was over at snipershide a few years ago.. alot of guys if i remember used alot of heavies for subsonic suppressed stuff and not high velocity. give it a search
I've read about H1000's lot issue. I had great results with my Edge a few years ago being stable v.s. Retumbo. I'd love to try RL33. Hard to find locally so im sure I'd have to order online a few pounds or a 8lb jug if its avalible.

Mike im a sucker for the RUMs. Thats sexy. Im interested in your results. Are gou gonna be using 350gr smk's in that at all. I just got rid of 375 rum brass and now regreting it. now im itching to do a build up.
awesome! dont see alot of extreme long range cheytac or 50bmg cased stuff much lately. Proboboly due to economy somewhat. Thats my ideal caliber for what im after....therfore im jealous ;)

i agree on the 89gr max. wierd how Sierra lists a longer COAL with 300gr for the 338 win mag as a single shot...doesnt for the RUM though.
ok,Im having a rifle built and just loading up some test/break-in loads with Sierras manual. Im getting a compressed load very soon at COAL of 3.580. Im curious if the manual really wants this to be seated longer cause it doesn't seem right to me.
