    I got my deer!!!!!

I often go out after them a couple of times a winter when the cabin fever gets to me, probably try to go a little extra this year. It’s really fun when you have an on day, though I tend to get a higher percentage of off days due to my calling skills or lack thereof.

    I got my deer!!!!!

Congratulations on a nice deer! Like you I’m a meat hunter and would be thrilled to shoot a deer like that 👍 I scratched this year, this morning last day I took a shot at one but the 70gr HH from my .243 only drew one drop of blood and presumably a haircut. Got a little ambitious I guess, my...

    Hammer load...HELP!

I say seat them in the top PDR groove and a decent crimp 1 or 2 grains below pressure before throwing in the towel. Almost all the shank is in the neck that way.

New Gun Laws Trying to be Passed Today

It's never been about getting tough on gun crime, it's ultimately about taking guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens because a man of conviction and principle who has a gun and knows how to use it is intimidating to a tyrant.

Forming 6.5 prc from 300 prc

@can1010 and @yorke-1 have your back, like they said it is possible, just a bit more time and effort involved. I will add if you've never formed brass before there will be a learning curve but if you have some good problem solving skills you can handle it no problem, in case you can't figure out...

Katahdin Thompson Center ProHunter 50x209 20" barrel loads?

We do that in our omegas, my dad uses on 50gr pellet T7 and I use 30gr volume of T7 loose, golf ball accurate at 50 yards.

    1st black powder muzzle loader

No doubt there's plenty of guys who could answer better than I but I saw that you asked back in September and haven't gotten a reply so figured I'd help if I can. First you want to find out what twist rate you have, put the cleaning jag on and a tight fitting patch, now put a piece of masking...

How do you clean your Brass?

And I fell for it haha!

How do you clean your Brass?

I'm a simple soul and I do it exactly the way you do, LEE drill chuck shell holder, and 0000 steel wool, with a LEE primer pocket scraper thrown in every few firings. Wipe off with a paper towel and that's it for cleaning.

2 deer down! 4000 + fps load works.

congratulations! you did well! we only got one in muzzle season, scratched on rifle season. saw a buck a bit bigger than yours but there was too much brush in the way. Yeah our snow was too crunch for stealth this year. Best I could do was walk slow and pause often like the deer do and hope they...

    Deer Sleeping Pills

If shots are expected to be under 200 I would go for the 143 LH or maybe even the new 120 gr version. I use the 143 in my 30-30 am hoping to try the 120 eventually

    YOUR COLDEST HUNT?

Pretty sure he's referring to a spray skirt, it seals off the cockpit of a kayak, keeps the paddler somewhat drier.
