It's a crap shoot. Some worked ok, others didn't. I pulled down the remaining ammo I had-all checked out ok. Ruger took the gun with no more questions asked. We were testing the applicability and possible submission of this gun for use as a survival gun for the AF. They passed.

It did have a bad flaw. The receiver cracked of the second shot. Factory ammo. Sprayed my face and hand with hot gas and a couple of metal frags. Had shooting glasses on, saved my eyes. My chin had a 2 inch slice on it. Glad I sent it back. Great idea, bad implementation. 👎 Got another 10/22...

I had one of the 22mag guns many years ago. It blew up in my face on the second shot. Factory ammo. I sent it back to Ruger with my compliments. As they were. Think I paid around 300 for it new. Great idea. Bad implementation. 👎

I think, (that's a laugh), I got my old 10ga at Coast to Coast hardware store back in 1971 or so. Can't remember the make or model. All I remember is it did the job, started earthquakes, shattered ears, and kicked like a mule. Many a honker went home with me from its use.

I used one of those slip on one's on a very old 10ga goose gun I had back in the early 70's. Thanks for the input.
