    remington extractor!!

So, I got a new Rem 700 7mag for xmas. Reloaded some shells using new hornady brass. I finally got to fire it couple of days ago and learned that the extractor won't pull the shell from the chamber. Before firing or not. does anyone have any experiance with remingtons warranty service? Or is...

    Powder Scale

I agree with the other majority here about the beam scale. I started reloading with a lee scale and it always worked we'll never had any issues. Bought a pact digital and this also works very we'll, but for measuring powder i don't care for it. They are very delicate and take for ever to...

    .243 win reloading issues.

I have never had any good luck with hornady bullets except with there factory rounds. Try a sierra or a nosler bullet in my book there better. Keep the 55 gr load if it shoots that well thats awsome. In NE PA guys would kill to have a 243 shoot light bullets that good. Agreed with above comments...

    708 urgent help

I also have trouble reaching 2800fps with 140 gr. Have currently 4 7mm08 all like different things sierra spt work well in all, accubonds shoot well out of my wifes rifle. nosler ballistic tips are hard to beat and cheaper than the accubonds to. IMR4064 good, reloader15good, I never had luck...

    I would like your opinion

My opinion, Look at the brownings. Hard to beet the quality and accuracy out of the box. I own several rifles, remingtons, savages, weatherby, browning. Like my 2 brownings the best 1 in 7mm08 1 in 325wsm, But I will say the 2 savage rifles I have both in 243 win are the most accurate factory...

    seating depth problem

Do you mean .010 (hundreth) or .001 (thousand) If you are talking .010 of an inch this is major and something is seriously out of wack, If you mean a .001 this is very easy to get variables from anywhere. Having clean precise measuring insruments, And using the same technique everytime will...

    measuring headspace (which brand)

Looking to add some tools to my reloading bench. I try to be a one time buyer, Looking at tools for measuring headspace to set up my dies. Originally was going to get the wilson cartidge case gauges, But see that sinclair makes a bump gauge set. These are cheaper but will I end up with the same...

Need Advice - Bullet Not Seating Properly

Don't go get a new die yet! Take the expander pin out of the die and size a case without it then measure the inside of case mouth. Also measure the expander ball. If need be you can emery off .001 or so to leave a tighter grip on the bullet. This ball is hard so it will remove slowly but watch...

140 gr 7mm rem mag load recomendations

So now I'm a little confused. The free bore I assume is the first part of the bore with no rifleing. I think maybe I've heard that the 300 weatherby mag has like .375 of free bore which I presume is huge considering that most handloaders seat bullets touching rifling or maybe .005 .010 of lands...

140 gr 7mm rem mag load recomendations

I was steering towards reloader 22 only because it may be the best suited powder I have for the application. I'm using a vanguard I rec as a gift and I understand that weatherby's have long throats, and like the long jumps. but I have no sammi specs as to O.A.L for these bullets so I'll be...
