    Texas Pronghorn Hunt-09

We hunted with Jeremy Gugelmeyer and Sagebrush Hunts. Jeremy and Sara's ranch, Buffalo Springs, has an amazing history. It is a part of the old XIT Ranch, which I know many of you are familiar with. The XIT was the largest fenced ranch in the world with over 3 million acres. The old headquarters...

    Texas Pronghorn Hunt-09

Four of us went back up to the Texas Panhandle on the Oklahoma state line to hunt pronghorns. All of us got on animals after some hard and long stalks. I took my 7mm STW. I used a 140 gr. Barnes MRX because I had a bunch loaded up. Like POP, I like to play with "new toys". It certainly did the...

Who has a Foxpro Fury in stock?

Hey Jeff, Most of the dealers are pre-selling them before they get there. I know that Mike Dillon shipped a bunch to dealers and directly to customers this week. I would go to AllPredatorCalls.com and order one from AP. I think he can probably get one to you faster than anyone. Here is a...

Interesting considering your latest posts said using electronic callers wan "not hunting"??

    Good/best varmint call

I agree that everyone should master hand calls. You must also learn how to pattern coyotes and set up properly with an e-caller. I suppose you don't use a scope either or just hunt with a bow to make sure it is "hunting"? I just don't like seeing hunters bash other hunters....... Bob

So how about Minaska Electronic Calls?

All of them work. I have called with the Bandit as well as most of the other e-callers out there. The Minaska is certainly one of the best and easy to use. Bob

    Good coyote call - non-electric?

Just go to AllPredatorCalls.com and get a closed reed jackrabbit call. It doesn't matter whether or not you have jackrabbits where you hunt. I would recommend Ed Sceery's AP-3 as a great first call. Good Hunting, Bob Here is a link (scroll down, it is at the bottom of the page: Product...

    Good/best varmint call

I assume you are talking about electronic callers? I would go with FOXPRO or Minaska. The best bang for the buck right now is a refurbished FOXPRO 416LR for $225. It has 16 sounds of your choice and the TX-5 Long Range Remote. Here is a link: FOXPRO Forums :: View Forum - FOXPRO Refurbished...

    Rules for New Mexico

Hey Roy, I go over to New Mexico every year for an annual coyote safari. You need a Nonresident Nongame license. They are $65 and good for one year. You cannot take foxes or bobcats with it! Good Hunting, Bob Here is something to wet your appetite. New Mexico Coyotes
